Greening Australia Blacktown River Bush Regeneration
Documentary
A state government funded bush regeneration and education program organized by Greening Australia facilitated 120 young adult Green Corps participants to plant over 1000 trees adjacent to the Blacktown River. The event was designed to restore the natural watercourse and local ecosystems whilst educating the participants about environmental science, bush regeneration and indigenous culture.
The approach to photographing the event naturally became focused around the personalities of the Green Corps participants, documenting their work ethic, their connection to the environment and also their recreational events and the photographs were used by Greening Australia to encourage future participants.
